Bébé Voyage

I am the Social Justice and Sustainability Editor for Bébé Voyage—a community of travel-loving families. Through this position, I oversee editorial content and contribute to the Conscious Travel column; write, edit, and develop content around social justice and sustainability travel and related projects; and provide strategic direction for Bébé Voyage anti-racism commitment (which I was instrumental in drafting).

While I lived in Baltimore, I became a Local Expert for Baltimore for the online experiential travel guide, Afar.com. In this role, I wrote and curated guides focused on Baltimore City while also creating highlights about the places I have traveled.

Volunteering and Service-Learning

Blogs

The Widest SmileA parenting blog focused on learning about and raising a baby with cleft lip. When I was about 20 weeks pregnant, my husband and I found out that our son had a cleft lip. This news set us off on a journey we never expected to be a part of. The blog is a reflection on that experience as well as a source for regular updates for friends, family, and anyone who’s interested in learning about the journey.

These are Not Tan Lines: A blog focused on place and travel.
